HiRate ("we", "our", or "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the HiRate mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information. HiRate does not require account registration, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other personally identifiable information.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Currency conversion history
• Watchlist (favorite currency pairs)
• Search history
• Language preference
• App settings

You can clear this data at any time by deleting the app or clearing history within the app.

3. Exchange Rate Data

HiRate fetches exchange rate data from public central bank reference sources (via the Frankfurter API at api.frankfurter.dev). When you request a rate conversion or chart, your device sends currency codes (e.g. USD, EUR) to this third-party API. No personal information is included in these requests.

4. Analytics & Tracking

We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or any third-party tracking tools. We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.

5. Children's Privacy

HiRate is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Data Security

All network communication uses HTTPS encryption. Local data is protected by your device's operating system security mechanisms.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
